Anne Mair - Development Manager I’ve worked for Houseability for the last 7 years but have been working in the social housing arena since 1996. My housing career began with Aberdeenshire Council in the Housing Department where I worked as a Housing Assistant and then a Senior Housing Assistant in Peterhead. In 2001 I moved on to work for Langstane Housing Association as a Housing Officer, in Aberdeen until 2003 when I came back to Peterhead to take up the post as Development Officer then Manager at Houseability.
My role in Houseability is varied; I have responsibility for developing the organisation and working with partner agencies in the area to do this. As well as working extensively with individual clients to enable them to find solutions to their housing needs. I find my job very interesting and enjoyable and I am glad to say that after nearly 7 years I still continue to be enthusiastic about my role and enjoy everyday working for such a worthwhile organisation!
